Bang Bang Tater Tots

I love tater tots. I gave up most carbs a while back and haven't really missed it. But tater tots? Hmm, that is my weakness.

Birdie's Pimento Cheese - Tater Tots - AR's Hot Southern Honey

Want to make the perfect potato better? Add a dollop of Birdie's Pimento Cheese and a drizzle of bang bang sauce. I mean, does it get any better?

Whipping up a batch of Bang Bang sauce at home is pretty easy with this recipe from the blog Sweet Tea + Thyme. Spend some time checking out her super cute blog.

Here are the details of how I whipped up this Bang Bang sauce for our Birdie's + Tater Tots.

1/2 cup Duke's Mayonnaise

1/4 cup Thai Sweet Chili sauce

2 tsp Sriracha

2 tsp honey

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. How easy is that? Of course, I had to kick it up one more notch and substituted ARs Hot Southern Honey for the regular honey. I used a store brand of thai sweet chili sauce, but Duke's is the only mayo option in my house.

I like to deep fry my tater tots, but you can bake them if you prefer. Either way, sprinkle with salt as you take them out of the heat. Pile the tots up, top with your favorite Birdie's Pimento Cheese, and drizzle with the bang bang sauce. Serve immediately, and get ready to make some more!

If you want to get fancy, you could add crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, pico de gallo, or diced red onion. Make it your own and send me some pics!
