Birdie's Pimento Cheese + Queso Sausage Dip
It's Super Bowl, it's cold outside, sometimes you want a warm dip, instead of a cold one. This Sausage Dip with Birdie's Pimento Cheese is just the answer you're looking for.
1 pound bulk sausage
1 can of Rotel tomatoes with green chiles
1 tub of Birdie's Cream Cheese + Black Pepper Pimento Cheese
1 tub of Birdie's Jalapeño Pimento Cheese
In a large skillet, cook the sausage until crumbly and no longer pink. Drain and return to the skillet. Over medium heat, add 1 can, undrained, Rotel tomatoes with green chiles, and one tub each of Birdie's Cream Cheese + Black Pepper Pimento Cheese and Birdie's Jalapeño Pimento Cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the dip is well combined.
Serve warm with corn chips, celery sticks or cucumber slices. Variations? depending on your heat preference, you can choose a hot or mild sausage. If you prefer a milder version, swap the Jalapeño Pimento Cheese for Birdie's Garlic Parmesan Pimento Cheese. Want more heat? Add chopped jalapeños. Need to serve a bigger crowd? Add a can of corn or black beans. Garnish? top with chopped Roma tomatoes, black olives, or green onions. Want to make this dip even easier?
